Here’s a round-up of the new launches from spirits brand owners in the week commencing 18 November.

Marking the Lunar New Year, the latest limited edition iteration of The Glenallachie will target Asian markets
  • Scotch whisky, single malt, Speyside. Matured for 11 years in ex-pedro ximénez and oloroso sherry as well as first-fill oak, 48% ABV
  • On sale now in specialist off-premise operators in China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan and Vietnam. Also available online for worldwide delivery from January
  • SRP of GBP77 (US$97) per 70cl bottle. Limited to 9,000 units

Foley Family Wine & Spirits’ Minden Mill

The three debut expressions in the Minden Mill American whiskey portfolio
According to FoleyFamily WIne & Spirits, 85% of the raw material for the three whiskies come from the same Nevada estate as the namesake brand's distillery, which was acquired last year
  • American whiskies, “single estate”, Nevada. The brand’s debut features a straight rye whiskey, a straight bourbon and an American single malt, all three have a 47% ABV
  • On sale from this week in the US, online for domestic delivery and in Arizona, California, Colorado, Illinois and Nevada
  • SRPs of US$44.99 for the rye and the bourbon, $59.99 for the single malt

Pernod Ricard’s Ballantine’s Single Distillery

The single grain extension, which will join Ballantine's permanent portfolio, comprises liquid produced at the group's Strathclyde distillery
  • Scotch whisky, single grain, no age statement. Sourced from Strathclyde grain spirit distillery in Glasgow, finished in ex-rum and “extra charred” American oak, 40% ABV
  • Rolling out to the brand’s markets this month
  • SRP not immediately available

Pendleton Whisky’s Pendleton 1910

The addition to Pendleton's namesake portfolio "pays homage to the first year of the Pendleton Round-Up, the rodeo from which Pendleton Whisky was built"
  • American whiskey, bourbon, Oregon, ten years old, matured in charred American white oak, 45% ABV
  • Available now through selected off-premise operators and online for domestic delivery in the US ahead of a nationwide rollout in January
  • SRP of US$49.99 per 75cl bottle

  • Released online this week for domestic delivery in the UK
