Molson Coors Beverage Co has released full details of the spirits-based RTD extension of The Coca-Cola Co’s Topo Chico brand in the US.

Topo Chico Spirited, which was first mooted in September last year, will sit alongside the hard seltzer range, both of which are handled in the US by Molson Coors. The new line hits the US this month and comprises Tequila & Grapefruit, Tequila & Lime and Vodka & Lemon.

All three carry an ABV of 5.9% and feature Topo Chico sparkling water.

While the SRP was not disclosed, the range, which will go on sale in single-flavour four-packs of 35.5cl cans, will roll out to states including Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, New Mexico, Nevada, Ohio, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin as well as the District of Columbia.

Molson Coors and Coca-Cola strengthened their US RTD tie-up at the start of last year, adding Simply Spiked Lemonade to the now-18-month-old arrangement.
