Jackson Family Wines has partnered its Kendall-Jackson brand with artist Victor Solomon to design the labels for the National Basketball Association’s first co-branded wines.
The labels for the Californian company’s flagship brand will be revealed during NBA All-Star Weekend in San Francisco from 14-16 February, specifically at NBA Crossover. Kendall-Jackson plans to roll out a co-branded Sonoma County cabernet sauvignon, a Monterey County chardonnay and a Lake County sauvignon blanc in the US from August.
“When we partnered with the NBA, we set out to uniquely blend the culture of wine with the excitement of the game,” said Kendall-Jackson co-proprietor Chris Jackson. “This partnership is a natural fit as we expand our relationship with the league and continue to explore unique ways to engage our audiences.”
The initial tie-up was first revealed last April when the company announced that both Kendall-Jackson and its La Crema brand will sponsor the NBA and the Women’s NBA, respectively. The pair will also back the US’s national basketball teams, again for Kendall-Jackson with the men’s and La Crema with the women’s.
