Mark Anthony Brands-owned Glendalough Distillery has updated the look of its namesake Irish gin brand.
The refresh, which rolls out to the US this month, applies across both expressions in the Glendalough Irish Gin portfolio, Wild Botanical and Wild Rose. According to the County Wicklow-based distiller, the move is designed to emphasise its employment of “Ireland’s only full-time forager” to source the botanicals used in the gins’ production processes.
Also referenced on the new bottle is “one of the important monastic sites in Ireland” in the distiller’s namesake hometown, 55km south of Dublin.
Mark Anthony’s International division raised its holding in Glendalough at the end of 2019, taking full ownership of the 12-year-old business.
