Dublin-based Cobblestone Brands has unveiled what it claims is “the world’s first cold brew Irish coffee” RTD.

The company, which acquired the Clontarf and Knappogue Castle Irish whiskey brands from Pernod Ricard in July, launched Irished Up earlier this month. The premix, packaged in 20cl cans, consists of single malt Irish whiskey mixed with cold-brewed coffee made with Colombian beans.

Irished Up utilises a “nitro infusion” and carries an ABV of 12.5%.

Details of the source for the whiskey, as well as the SKU’s debut markets, were not immediately available.

Cobblestone, which is headed up by the founder of Irish whiskey Glendalough (now owned by Mark Anthony Brands International), Brian Fagan, also owns Mauritian rum Star & Key and Four Corners American gin.
