Around 5,300 people visited the two-day show in New York last week, an 18% rise on the year prior. Organiser RX hosted 230 brands that were exhibiting, with industry professionals travelling from 47 US states and 48 different countries. Among the announcements made at the exhibition were the winners of the New York International Spirits Competition, the results of which were also reported by Global Drinks Intel earlier this month.
A total of 132 speakers took part in 52 “education sessions”, covering topics such as worldwide trends in the on-premise channel, workplace health & safety and innovation in the spirits category.
“We could not be happier with the success of Bar Convent Brooklyn 2024 and are grateful to all who attended and contributed to making this event a memorable experience,” said RX’s Bar Convent Brooklyn event VP, Jackie Williams. “We look forward to seeing how the ideas and trends showcased here will shape the future of our industry.”
Next year’s show will take place at the same venue, Industry City in Brooklyn, on 10 and 11 June.
