Paulaner Brewery has signed a deal to become an “official supplier” to the future Audi Formula 1 team.
The “long-term” agreement, financial details of which were not disclosed, will see the German brewer’s namesake 0.0% wheat beer take a prominent role at team events and celebrations. The partnership will commence when the Audi team joins the Formula 1 grid next year, with more information on planned fan-facing initiatives expected to emerge closer to launch.
The 2026 season of Formula 1 will begin on 6 March in Australia.
Paulaner CEO Jörg Biebernick described the move as a strategic step in expanding the brewery’s international reach. He said: “This cooperation underscores our long-term commitment to combining pleasure, quality and responsibility in professional sports.
“We look forward to introducing Paulaner to a new generation of motorsport fans.”
Last month, Paulaner lined up a change of distribution partner in South Korea in time for the start of next year.
