The head of Carlsberg’s operations in Asia is leaving the brewer after only a year in post.
Leo Evers, who was appointed executive VP for Asia by Carlsberg in July last year, will vacate the role on 1 July. A statement late last week confirmed the move, with CEO Cees ‘t Hart thanking Evers and wishing him “the very best for the future”.
Prior to joining the Copenhagen-headquartered group, Evers spent just over 25 years with Heineken, rising to become regional MD for Asia-Pacific from September 2019 until his departure in January last year.
Carlsberg is in the process of finding a replacement, which will be announced “in due course”.
