AB InBev has announced details of a global beer campaign timed to coincide with International Beer Day on Friday (7 August).
The campaign, ‘Cheers to Beer’, launches today (5 August) with a 90-second advert (below), that the brewer said “celebrates the timeless role beer plays in culture and communities around the world”. The video, featuring core brands Corona, Budweiser, Michelob Ultra and Stella Artois, will be shared globally across AB InBev’s social channels and “local corporate brands”.
Alongside the film, the brewer has released a whitepaper in partnership with Ipsos and the IWSR on the trends shaping adult beverages.
“The campaign celebrates the timeless role beer plays in culture and communities around the world,” AB InBev said. “Through this effort, AB InBev’s goal is to elevate the global conversation around beer and reinforce how they are leading and growing the category.”
AB InBev continued its strong start to 2026 with a 5.6% sales rise in the second quarter of the year, driven by robust export gains for beer marks Corona, Stella Artois and Michelob Ultra. Building on the company’s 5.8% increase in the first three months of 2026, the first half of the year delivered a total sales rise of 5.7%, with no-alcohol beer (+27%) and the ‘Beyond Beer’ division (+44%) also flagged as significant growth drivers.
