Sparkling wine giant Henkell Freixenet has released details of two additions to its I Heart portfolio, with a brace of canned and carbonated SKUs debuting in Ireland this month.
I Heart Pink Fizz and I Heart Pinot Grigio Fizz have just gone on sale in the market. Available in single-serve 20cl cans, the pair carry SBVs of 10% and 10.5%, respectively.
The SRP has been set at EUR3.75 (US$4.30) per can.
“I Heart is shaking things up this summer with the launch of its new canned wine range in Ireland, a bold, bubbly step designed for wine lovers who want great taste, zero fuss and a more relaxed way to enjoy wine,” Henkell Freixenet said.
“Landing just in time for sunshine season, the new single-serve cans tap into growing demand for convenience, moderation and drink-anywhere occasions, whether that’s a picnic in the park, a festival field, a beach day or a train journey with friends.”
The I Heart brand was created by UK-based Copestick Murray prior to its takeover by Henkell & Co in 2016. The German sparkling wine company then bought Freixenet two years later, with Copestick Murray subsequently becoming Freixenet Copestick.
Two months ago, ‘I Heart Kinda Summer’ was announced, with the marketing campaign aimed squarely at the UK’s Gen Z consumers through activations at a raft of universities in the country.
