Here’s a round-up of the new launches from spirits brand owners in the week commencing 29 June.


Hyoketsu Lemon can
Having become one of Hyoketsu's "most popular flavours" in Kirin's home market of Japan, the lemon-flavoured extension is making its way to South Korea this month

Kirin Brewery’s Hyoketsu Lemon

  • RTD, lemon-flavoured, 5.3% ABV
  • Rolling out across the off-premise channel in South Korea from this week
  • SRP not immediately available, on sale in 50cl cans. Hyoketsu’s White Peach variant will also “transition” to 50cl cans in the country, in order to “better align with local consumer preferences”

Redwood Empire Whiskey’s Colonel Armstrong Wheated Bourbon

In the 1870s, Colonel James Armstrong transferred ownership of the land that would later become Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve (in Redwood Empire's home state of California) to his daughter, thereby "helping preserve the ancient redwood forest for future generations"
  • American whiskey, bourbon. Consists of bourbon produced at Redwood Empire’s distillery in California blended with an unspecified number of four-to-14-year-old “high wheat” bourbons from Indiana and Kentucky. Wheat accounts for 30% of the overall mash bill, although further production and maturation details were not disclosed
  • Released this month to the US off-premise, also on sale online for domestic delivery
  • SRP of US$39.99 per 75cl bottle

Sublime Kiku is the second edition of Ron Matusalem’s Sublime Collection
  • Rum, Dominican Republic. 40% ABV. Aged in four stages:
    • In a 20-year-old solera system in ex-bourbon in the Dominican Republic
    • For ten years in ex-sherry in the Dominican Republic
    • “More than two years” in ex-bordeaux oak in France
    • “More than two years” in ex-junmai sake casks in Japan
  • Unveiled on 23 June at a private event in Tokyo. Limited to 600 numbered crystal decanters worldwide. Allocations destined for “major global capitals” such as Berlin, Madrid, Milan, Paris, Prague, Rome, Shanghai and Tokyo, sold by the glass in “luxury” on-premise venues and in specialist retailers
  • SRP of US$3,000 per 50cl bottle

Boss Babe Brands’ Biatch Bling Añejo Ultra Premium Tequila

Boss Babe Brands' Bling Añejo Ultra Premium Tequila
  • Tequila, Jalisco, El Arenal. Aged for 26 months in unspecified containers. 40% ABV
  • Available for pre order in the US.
  • Described as an “extremely limited run” with an SRP of US$425 for 75cl

Teichenné’s ¡Mucho! Cocktails

Mucho! Cocktails five bottles
Spanish group Teichenné has created this new-to-market line of premix cocktails for its domestic market
  • RTS premix cocktails. Range comprises five SKUs; Cosmopolitan, Daiquiri, Espresso Martini, Manhattan and Passion Fruit Martini. All at 14.9% ABV
  • Debuting in Spain this month
  • SRP not immediately available, on sale in 70cl bottles

Disaronno Group’s Sagamore High Rye Straight Bourbon

Following a limited local debut in the Baltimore area late last year, this iteration, which forms part of the Sagamore Whiskey Core Collection, will go on sale across the US from tomorrow (1 July)
  • American whiskey, bourbon, Maryland. Mash bill comprises 60% corn, 25% rye and 15% malted rye. Six years old, matured in charred American white oak, 54% ABV
  • Released nationwide in the US off-premise channel, including through retail multiple Total Wine & More, this week
  • SRP of US$50 per 75cl bottle

De Kuyper Royal Distillers’ De Kuyper Elderflower Spritz and 

Limoncello Spritz plus Peachtree Spritz

De Kuyper Spritz range five bottles
De Kuyper is leaning into fruit flavours for the premix spritz extension of its namesake brand, while also adding a spritz to peach liqueur mark Peachtree
  • Pre-mix cordial, consisting of elderflower and limoncello spritzes for the De Kuyper brand
  • Released this week to the on-premise channel in the company’s home market of the Netherlands, available in 1-litre bottles and in 20-litre “KeyKeg” – to be mixed with sparkling water. The two De Kuyper extensions will be joined by Peachtree Spritz “in early autumn” in premix format for the off-premise, packaged in sparkling wine-style bottles
  • SRPs not immediately available
