Moët Hennessy has appointed LVMH’s chief human resources officer to fill the same position at its wine & spirits division.
Claire de Coincy joins the Hennessy cognac owner following two years at LVMH’s ‘Holdings & Other activities’ unit. She replaces Paula Fallowfield, who is taking up the chief HRO role at LVMH Americas.
Prior to joining LVMH, de Coincy (below) was the global HR director at French fashion house Chloé for six years and spent 16 years at L’Oréal, working up from product manager to HR director.
“Claire brings extensive human resources experience, most recently as CHRO at LVMH Holdings & Other activities,” Moët Hennessy said in a LinkedIn post today (15 April). “Her leadership will be instrumental in nurturing our culture and developing our people and organisational capabilities to support our long-term goals.”
In its latest results, posted on Monday, Moët Hennessy revealed its sales grew 5% to EUR1.27bn (US$1.49bn) in the three months to the end of March. The performance represented the division’s best quarter of sales since the third quarter of 2022.
