Irish-American whiskey brand Four Walls, founded by actors Charlie Day, Glenn Howerton and Rob McElhenney, is in the process of rolling out a marketing initiative in the US.
The ‘Come on in!’ push sees the actors, who appear together in sitcom ‘It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’, encourage the country’s consumers to come together more often in a 52-second spot (below). The campaign also includes matchday gatherings at Wrexham AFC supporters’ bars across the US, with Mac as co-owner of the Welsh soccer club.
The whiskey brand is also offering US$5 vouchers to users of Uber in the country who are leaving home to meet friends by signing up to the ‘Pledge To Hang’ website.
Made from grain and malt Irish whiskies blended with American rye, Four Walls is currently available via e-commerce across the US as well as in bars and stores throughout 13 states.
Last month, Pernod Ricard’s Chivas Brothers scotch whisky division extended its namesake flagship blended scotch with a clear spirit expression.
