Here’s a round-up of the new launches from spirits brand owners in the week commencing 11 August.


Flor de Cana Coco
This release is based on the four-year-old blanco expression

  • Rum-based liqueur, coconut flavoured, 17% ABV
  • Available on Amazon from September, rolling out across multi-channels afterwards
  • SRP of GBP20 (US$27) per 70cl bottle

Whyte & Mackay’s The Dalmore Portfolio Series 2025

The Dalmore Portfolio Series 2025 No 3 bottle and box
Comprising three bottlings, including this iteration at US$1,270, the second annual set from The Dalmore's Portfolio Series will be a GTR channel-exclusive
  • Scotch whisky, single malt, Highlands, no age statements. Three bottlings – No 1, No 2 and No 3 – finished in ex-Bordeaux wine (46.8% ABV), -Châteauneuf du-Pape (46% ABV) and -Bordeaux cabernet sauvignon (49.7%), respectively
  • Debuting in Singapore Changi Airport with Lotte Duty Free on 1 September ahead of wider GTR rollout internationally a month later
  • SRPs of US$635 for Portfolio Series No 1 (3,595 units), $952.50 for No 2 (1,596 units) and $1,270 for No 3 (1,014 bottles)

High West Distillery’s Bottled in Bond Bourbon

High West Bottled in Bond bourbon
The liquid comprises a 'high-rye mash bill' featuring a mash bill of 36% rye and 64% non-GMO yellow corn
  • American whiskey, bourbon, aged four years and five months in a federally bonded warehouse, 50% ABV
  • Available in the US at select retailers and began shipping to 35 states online from the start of August
  • SRP of US$79.99 per 75cl bottle

Loch Lomond Group’s Glen Scotia 12 Year Old

Boasting Glen Scotia's new "brand identity", the 12-year-old will be the fifth aged iteration in the mark's core range
  • Scotch whisky, single malt, Campbelltown. Twelve years old, aged in first-fill ex-bourbon, 46% ABV
  • On sale from this week online for worldwide delivery as well as through UK spirits specialist The Whisky Shop
  • SRP of GBP45 (US$60) per 70cl bottle

Moët Hennessy’s Glenmorangie The Altus 25 Years Old

Glenmorangie The Altus 25 Years Old bottle and box
Taking its name from the Latin word for 'high', Altus becomes the third iteration in Glenmorangie's core range, alongside Original 12 Years Old and Infinita 18 Years Old
  • Scotch whisky, single malt, Highland, 25 years old. Consists of whisky matured in ex-bourbon mixed with whisky that has been finished for an unspecified period in ex-Madeira wine, 43% ABV
  • On sale from this week from spirits specialist operators in the off-premise channel (markets not confirmed) as well as online for worldwide delivery
  • In the UK, SRP of GBP550 (US$739) per 70cl bottle

Diageo’s Johnnie Walker Black Ruby RTD

Johnnie Walker Black Ruby RTD can
The premix follows five months after the expansion of Johnnie Walker's Black Ruby iteration beyond the global travel retail channel
  • Premix, based around Tom Collins cocktail serve, contains scotch whisky mixed with carbonated water and blackberry flavour
  • Rolling out this month in Australia’s off-premise channel, including through multiple retailers BWS and Dan Murphy’s
  • SRP not immediately available, available in 37.5cl cans

Ian Macleod Distillers’ Glengoyne Mizunara Oak

Glengoyne Mizunara Oak bottle and box
  • Scotch whisky, single malt, Highland, 16 years old, ten of which in first-fill and refill sherry, followed by six years in mizunara oak, 53.4% ABV
  • On sale globally from 13 August, in limited – unspecified – numbers
  • In the UK, SRP of GBP300 (US$404) per 70cl bottle

Isle of Harris Distillery’s The Hearach Royal Mile limited edition

The single cask bottling from Isle of Harris Distillery's The Hearach line was created "in close collaboration with" Royal Mile Whiskies in Scotland
  • Scotch whisky, single malt, Islands (Isle of Harris), no age statement, matured in first-fill bourbon, 57.4% ABV (cask strength)
  • Available from 15 August through off-premise operator Royal Mile Whiskies, including online for worldwide delivery and to “select” bars through Royal Mile’s trade business
  • SRP of GBP94.95 (US$128) per 70cl bottle, limited to 225 individually-numbered units
