Moët Hennessy has tapped into parent company LVMH’s recently-announced partnership with Formula 1 to promote its Whispering Angel rosé wine brand.
Securing “official rosé” status this season, including activations at Miami, Emilia-Romagna, Imola, Monaco, and Barcelona meets, Whispering Angel will be present at Silverstone for the British Grand Prix on 6 July, as well as several other F1 races. The brand joins Moët & Chandon, which secured ‘official champagne’ status earlier this year, and Belvedere vodka, which followed shortly after.
LVMH signed the ten-year partnership with Formula 1 in October last year and has secured a plethora of tie-ups with its luxury brands, including Louis Vuitton.
“Having been served in the F1 ‘Paddock Club’ during the past 15 years, we are thrilled to bring Whispering Angel to the next level through this exciting partnership,” said Whispering Angel founder Sacha Lichine.
Last month, Heineken assumed “official beer and cider” status at the Silverstone circuit.
