Havana Club unaffected by Cuba sugar harvest plunge

A particularly weak sugar harvest in Cuba this year is unlikely to impact Pernod Ricard's Havana Club rum brand, a spokesperson has told Global Drinks Intel.In an article published by The Guardian in the UK late last week, the 2025 sugar production by state-run  monopoly Azcuba was estimated to have totalled around 165,000 tonnes.
