Heineken has partnered with SSP Group, a food and beverage outlets operator in travel locations, to set up two bars at Singapore Changi Airport.
The brewing giant is set to debut the ‘Heineken World Bar’ concept in Asia with the development, with both outlets located in Terminal 2. Making the move through its Asia Pacific Breweries Singapore subsidiary, the pair will serve the flagship beer brand as well as a range of Western dishes.
SPP highlighted Heineken’s strong global brand presence and its suitability for attracting Changi Airport’s diverse international clientele. Global Drinks Intel has contacted Heineken for the locations of other World Bars.
“The Heineken World Bar is a refreshing pitstop designed to spark connections beyond barriers, serving Heineken’s pure malt, premium quality lager,” said APB Singapore’s marketing director, Gerald Yeo. “We look forward to enhancing the travel experience at Changi Airport through these exciting new venues.”
In March, the Netherlands-headquartered brewer launched its first global GenAI laboratory in Singapore in a move designed to improve “growth, productivity and customer engagement”.
