With more spirits exhibitors and a new ‘Business Forum’, there is plenty to look forward to at the Düsseldorf trade fair from 16–18 March. The event may be trimmed down this year (5,000 exhibitors, down from 5,400; 11 halls from 13), but organisers claim ProWein will more than make up for its size with increased content.

From AI and TikTok to pricing trends and sustainability, this year’s focus is on helping drinks businesses navigate the future – the ‘Business Forum’ has been designed to play a key role – and there’s a packed programme of seminars, masterclasses and events running across the three days.

ProSpirits has been expanded after its successful debut last year and will feature up to 450 exhibitors from 56 countries. Here, we take a closer look at some of the companies hoping to make waves at ProWein 2025.

The company will also showcase its latest innovation in the growing 0.0% category.

With a focus on setting trends and building partnerships, De Kuyper continues to position its liqueurs as essential ingredients for outstanding cocktail experiences worldwide.

German-Spanish alliance Henkell Freixenet, a major player in the sparkling wine category, will showcase its diverse portfolio, including cava, prosecco, crémant, champagne and sparkling wines, alongside a selection of wines and spirits.

This year, the spotlight is on its three global icon brands – Freixenet, Mionetto, and Henkell – as well as Alfred Gratien Champagne and Gratien & Meyer Crémant. With a strong international presence, Henkell Freixenet bought out its distribution joint-venture partner in Portugal last September.

John Distilleries – Hall 5 K46

Since their UK launch in 2012, Paul John Single Malts have garnered global acclaim, often compared to – and even surpassing – Scotch whiskies, backed by numerous awards.

Also on display will be the distiller’s Big Banyan wines and Roulette whisky, marking the brand’s commitment to “exceptional spirits and wines for a worldwide audience”.

La Martiniquaise – Hall 5 A15

France’s La Martiniquaise will showcase its diverse portfolio across five key areas: scotch whisky, mixology, craft from France, wines & brandy and soft & no-low. The company will highlight innovative offerings such as Label 5 Citrus, which boasts a natural citrus flavour at an ABV of 35%, alongside its full range of premium spirits and beverages.

“We aimed to create a unique and balanced recipe, perfect for sharing with friends and aligned with our values of group power and inclusivity” said La Martiniquaise’s international senior brand manager, Anne Ernould.

Macduff International – Hall 5 Stand J46

MacDuff International will showcase its award-winning portfolio of premium Scotch whisky, blending heritage and innovation. The collection includes iconic blends like Islay Mist and Lauder’s, alongside newer additions such as WaterProof blended malt and RyeLaw, a single-distillery Fife rye scotch whisky launched in partnership with InchDairnie Distillery.

Visitors can explore new releases, enjoy exclusive tastings and learn about MacDuff’s commitment to craftsmanship and quality that has defined its place in the global whisky market since 1992.

Milestone Beverages– Hall 5 Stand F10

Milestone will showcase its expanded Stateless US whiskey range at the trade show, introducing new apple and peach flavoured whiskeys alongside a one-litre varietal. Inspired by the “dynamic nomads of America’s modern circus”, Stateless brings together diverse influences to create a striking sensory experience.

Spirit France will mark the 200th anniversary of its Boulard calvados brand with a special limited-edition cuvée, crafted from Calvados Pays d’Auge aged for at least 18 years, honouring the brand’s founding year, 1825. Known for its role in creating the AOC Calvados Pays d’Auge, Boulard’s flagship expressions, including Grand Solage and VSOP have earned a global following.

The new packaging reinvents elegance and tradition, featuring a striking gold and white design and a matte black neck, enhancing each expression’s unique character with powerful visual impact.
