The TFWA World Exhibition & Conference returns to the Palais des Festivals in Cannes for its 40th-anniversary event on 29 September until 3 October. Joining the litany of leading landlords, retailers and suppliers at the exhibition will be a host of beverage alcohol brand owners looking to showcase their global travel retail portfolios, share their plans for the channel, unveil launches and make new connections. Accolade Wines – Yellow Village, Stand D26

Created by Accolade in partnership with country music legend Dolly Parton, Dolly Wines is sure to draw in the crowds. Set to land in the UK this month, the two-strong range includes Dolly Prosecco and Dolly Rosé.

Accolade will also showcase Remastered – a wine brand launched to, as the group says, “disrupt the Old World wine category”, and that includes fiano and sangiovese varietals.

Finally, the group will highlight The Minibox, a new format designed to bring “interest and desirability” to the boxed wine arena. The range is initially launching with Jam Shed Shiraz – Malbec, Mud House Sauvignon Blanc New Zealand – Sauvignon Blanc Chile, and Hardys Cabernet-Shiraz-Merlot.

Bacardí – Bay Village, Stand 36

Alongside the rest of its portfolio, Bacardí will showcase the latest innovations from Dewar’s scotch and Patrón tequila. The GTR-exclusive Dewar’s Double Double Stone Toasted Discovery Pack includes two 75cl Dewar’s Double Double 21-year-old Stone Toasted expressions: one aged in American oak casks and one in French oak casks.

Meanwhile, described as an “exquisite and refined prestige tequila”, Patrón El Alto is primarily crafted with extra añejo tequila that has been blended with añejo and reposado tequilas. The liquid has been aged in 11 types of barrels, mostly hybrids made up of American oak bodies and French oak heads.

Bottega – Blue Village, Stand A11

Wine, spirits and liqueur producer Bottega will bring a taste of its native Italy to the south of France, showcasing several new products. Chief among them will be Bottega Gold Cru Prosecco Extra Brut, which is part of a broader initiative launched by Bottega ten years ago to enhance the category. WThe aim is to produce sparkling wine of the highest quality by extending fermentation time and thus obtain wine with a more complex character and good longevity,” the group says.

Bottega will also unveil Crema di Meloncino, a low-alcohol cream liqueur with an aroma of ripe melons.
