The project, led by the group’s global travel division, goes live this month through a tie-up with GTR operator Gebr Heinemann. Following a launch on Heinemann’s loyalty programme platform, the packs will then go on sale in Amsterdam Schiphol, Copenhagen and Frankfurt airports ahead of a limited-time presence domestically in Germany from May.
According to the brand owner, the bottles weigh 85g each, comparing favourably to the glass bottle’s 454g weight.

We are already looking forward to the delivery of more initiatives as we journey towards our 2030 commitments.”
Longer-term plans for the aluminium offering were not disclosed.
Baileys returns as the ‘official partner’ of the Eurovision Song Contest in May. The three-year sponsorship was initially announced by Diageo in February last year.
