The arrangement, with Delhi-based Amistad Spirits, will see Altamura Distilleries’ namesake brand commence its roll-out in the market this week. Starting in the north of the country, including the capital city as well as the states of Haryana, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh, the vodka will expand to other parts of India, such as Goa, Maharashtra and Punjab, by the end of March.
The debut will be marked by an event in Delhi’s Sidecar bar today (19 February).
“Partnering with Altamura Distilleries is a significant milestone for Amistad Spirits.,” said Amistad co-founder & CEO Sachin Abrol. “We are proud to be entrusted with the exclusive distribution rights for … Altamura Vodka in North India.”
Late last year, Altamura, which launched its vodka in 2022, appointed Italian bartender Lorenzo Di Cola as its first international head of brand.
