UK-based Drinksology Kirker Greer has recruited a former Molson Coors Beverage Co executive to head up its marketing operations.
Ali Pickering, who left Molson Coors in February after 23 years, will assume the role of CMO at the Jawbox Irish Gin brand owner. Joining co-founders and joint CEOs Steven Pattison and Richard Ryan on the executive team, Pickering will be responsible for “strategic brand development [and] effective implementation of marketing communication strategies”.

Pickering joined Molson Coors’ UK division in late 1999, moving through the ranks to the post of marketing director for Western Europe at the start of 2020. She left the group earlier this year to set up her own consultancy business.
The appointment marks another move from Molson Coors to DKG this year after EMEA & Asia Pacific growth & innovation director Ryan McFarland transitioned to chief commercial & strategy officer in July.
As well as Jawbox, DKG owns the Ukiyo Japanese Spirits, Kirker Shamrock Whiskey and Ginato Italian Gin brands. The company also runs a design, branding and marketing agency called Drinksology Creative.
