Gordon & MacPhail’s Recollection Series single malts

The Recollection Series runs annually, with this year’s line featuring 18 limited-edition expressions of between 25 and 50 years old
  • Scotch whiskies, single malts. See below for full list
  • Three expressions – Port Ellen 1981, Glen Mhor 1973 and Banff Distillery 1976 – available worldwide, the remaining 15 in “select international markets”, from this week
  • SRPs in the UK:

Lind & Lime Gin

Distilled in Edinburgh, Scotland, Lind & Lime is now heading to the US, six years after its debut
  • Gin, UK, London Dry, 44% ABV
  • Rolling out this month to the US, in Alabama, Arizona, California, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, Nevada, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Utah
  • SRP not immediately available. On sale online in the UK at GBP38.50 [US$49] per 70cl bottle

Elixir Distillers’ Elements of Islay Beach Bonfire blended Scotch

Beach Bonfire is the first limited-edition bottling from Elements of Islay, the brand owned by The Whisky Exchange’s founders, brothers Rajbir and Sukhinder Singh
  • Scotch whisky, blended, comprising three single malts distilled on Islay. 54.5% ABV
  • Launching in “key markets” in Europe, including the UK, in October prior to release in Asia and the US next year
  • In the UK, SRP of GBP79.95 [US$102] per 70cl bottle

Michter’s Distillery’s Michter’s US*1 Toasted Barrel Finish Rye whiskey

Kentucky-based Michter’s has taken its US*1 Rye and finished the liquid in a second, air-dried and toasted barrel
  • American whiskey, rye, 54.45% ABV
  • Hitting the US this month, channel-specific details not disclosed
  • SRP of US$120 per 75cl bottle

The King of Soho Copacetic Vodka

Sourced from English wheat, the vodka from The King of Soho spirits brand has secured listings in two export markets
  • Vodka, UK, 40% ABV
  • Rolling out to France and the Netherlands this month
  • SRP not immediately available, In the UK, where the expression debuted last year, online price of GBP39 [US$50] per 70cl bottle

Beam Suntory’s Little Book Chapter 7 ‘In Retrospect’ American whiskey

The seventh in the annual ‘Little Book’ series is a seven-strong blend of four-to-18-year-old straight Bourbon and rye whiskies with a five-year-old straight malt that was finished in applewood smoked barrels
  • American whiskey, 59.05% ABV
  • Launching this week in the US, on sale nationwide
  • SRP of US$149.99 per 75cl bottle, available in limited, but unspecified, numbers

Angus Dundee Distillers’ Glencadam Cask Finishes Collection single malts

The three initial bottlings from the series – Reservé de Burgundy. Reserva PX and Reserva de Porto Branco – will be joined in the UK by Reserva de Porto Tawny and Reservé de Bordeaux later this year
  • Scotch whiskies, single malts, Highland. No age statements, ABVs of 46%. The trio have been finished in ex-Pinot Noir barrels from Burgundy, in ex-Pedro Ximénez Sherry butts and in ex-white Port barriques, respectively
  • Released this week in the UK, online and through specialist spirits operators in the country’s off-premise
  • All three carry an SRP of GBP47 [US$60] per 70cl bottle

Moët Hennessy’s Ardbeg Anthology: The Harpy’s Tale single malt

Ardbeg’s ‘Anthology’ series debuts with a whisky that has been matured in a mix of ex-Bourbon and ex-Sauternes wine casks
  • Scotch whisky, single malt, Islands, 13 years old, 46% ABV
  • Rolling out this week to spirits specialists in the off-premise worldwide, also available online
  • In the US, SRP of US$164.99 per unit. Available in limited – albeit unspecified – quantities
