Nemiroff has confirmed a change of marketing lead, with Mykola Takzey replacing Irina Zhygunova as CMO.
Takzey, who according to his LinkedIn profile assumed the position in April, joined the Ukrainian vodka company from Netherlands-based meat-alternative producer Redefine Meat. The bulk of his professional career – 15-and-a-half years – was spent with Philip Morris where he rose to become head of the tobacco giant’s innovation centre.

When contacted by Global Drinks Intel following today’s announcement, a spokesperson for the brand owner said Zhygunova has made way for Takzey and “left the company around a year ago”.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Mykola Takzey to the Nemiroff family,” said CEO Yuriy Sorochynskiy. “Mykola brings exceptional strategic acumen to our team, infusing fresh life into multiple projects while consistently prioritising the consumer experience. His expertise and forward-thinking will undoubtedly contribute to shaping our brand’s journey.”
Nemiroff is not the only vodka brand owner to shuffle its senior executive deck this year: Last month, Stoli Group appointed Chris Caldwell as its CEO following the departure of Damian McKinney after almost three years in the role.
