Rémy Cointreau has confirmed a change of leadership for its Global Travel Retail operations following the pending departure of Adam Hamzah.
Fida Bou Chabke will move up to become CEO of the division at the start of July. The promotion comes following Hamzah’s decision to “pursue other personal interests” after four years with the Rémy Martin brand owner.

Chabke’s career with Rémy Cointreau started in 2017, when she joined as MD for Hong Kong & Taiwan following almost four years with the French foreign trade advisor. She arrived at her current role of GM for Cognac brand Louis XIII in the Americas two years ago after a year as MD of Latin America, the Caribbean & Travel Retail Americas.
At the same time, the global brand director for Cointreau, Alice Hoffman, will become GTR marketing director, reporting in to Chabke. Hoffman joined the company in 2007.

Based out of Singapore, Chake will report to the CEO for EMEA, Asia Pacific & GTR, Ian McLernon.
Late last month, Rémy Cointreau posted a 10.1% year-on-year sales increase from fiscal 2023, to the end of March.
