Campari Group has unveiled a new look to the bottle for its namesake aperitif brand, with cues from its home city.
The Milan-headquartered company has undertaken a redesign for Campari that “reflects the sleek, minimalist fashion and contemporary design that the city is known for”. As well as the introduction of vertical lines in the glass, Milan will also be name-checked on the front label.
When contacted by Global Drinks Intel today, a spokesperson for Campari confirmed the roll-out will apply worldwide on a phased basis starting this month.
As part of the reveal, the group is hosting a “drone show” in Milan yesterday and today.

The news comes in the same week as the company reported a 19.6% year-on-year increase in sales from the three months to the end of March. Brand Campari delivered a rise of just under 24%, against what the group termed as a “tough comparison base” a year earlier. While acknowledging the period is traditionally a “small quarter”, Campari claimed to have benefitted from a “resilient consumer environment”.
