Mixers producer Fever-Tree has added two cocktail-targetted SKUs to its namesake portfolio in the US.

Fever-Tree Classic Bloody Mary and Classic Margarita will look to capitalise on the “popularisation of premium spirits” when they hit the country’s shelves this week. The pair will be available nationwide in 75cl bottles priced at US$7.99 each.

The Bloody Mary variant features Californian tomatoes while Margarita Mix, which will be joined by a Light version containing 58% less sugar and calories, is made using limes and agave from Mexico.

According to the company, the premium cocktail mixer category has grown by 27% in the US over the last three years.

“We’re just scratching the surface of the potential growth and innovation in the premium cocktail mixer category,” said North America CEO Charles Gibb. “Like with carbonated mixers, the non-carbonated category is primed for tremendous growth and represents a bigger market opportunity than tonic water alone.”

Earlier this year, Fever-Tree posted an 11% year-on-year increase in 2022 sales driven by the US, which was up 13% on the year prior.
