Carlsberg has followed last week’s announcement that Cees ‘t Hart is set to retire with the unveiling of Jacob Aarup-Andersen as its next CEO.

News of ‘t Hart’s plan to step down before the end of September broke on Tuesday last week, with Carlsberg confirming at the time that the search for a new CEO was underway. The group today stated that Aarup-Andersen, who currently holds the same position at global facility management provider ISS, will take over “later”.
The Danish national, who has a background in banking and finance, has been with ISS since September 2020, when he left Danske Bank after almost five years.
CFO Heine Dalsgaard ended his six years with Carlsberg late last year with former Diageo executive Ulrica Fearn taking his place in January.
