Carlsberg has successfully completed its search for a new CFO with former Diageo executive Ulrica Fearn lined up for the role.
Three months ago, the brewing multinational announced that Heine Dalsgaard will stand down at the end of this year. Replacing Dalsgaard, who has been financial lead since mid-2016, is Swedish national Fearn, who worked for Diageo between 1998 and 2017.

During her time with the spirits group, Fearn held the CFO role at several regional units, including Australasia and Northern Europe, before settling in Hungary as GM for global shared services for four years. Another near-four-year stint, this time with BT as group finance director, was followed by her recruitment as CFO of Norway-based energy company Equinor last year.
Fearn joins Carlsberg in January.
Last month, the brewer posted a near-21% year-on-year sales increase for the first six months of 2022. Third-quarter and year-to-date results will be announced on 27 October.
