Don Sebastiani & Sons has plugged a gap in its portfolio through a tie-up with low-abv sparkling wine brand Libby.
The two-strong range, which was initially launched in the US earlier this year, will be handled nationwide by the California-based group in a sales and distribution capacity. The start-up will retain production and marketing responsibilities.
Don Sebastiani is set to roll out Libby Rosé Blend and White Blend, which have ABVs of 7%, in California, Oregon, Wisconsin and Tennessee in the coming weeks. with unspecified extensions of the brand earmarked for next year.
Earlier this month, Californian peer Bronco Wine Co confirmed the appointment of a new CEO, following the recent death of co-founder Fred Franzia.
