The finance lead for Carlsberg is calling time on his six-year tenure, with Heine Dalsgaard set to leave at the end of this year.

Heine Dalsgaard was previously CFO at facility services provider ISS until mid-2016

Dalsgaard, who assumed the CFO position in June 2016, will join a “private equity-backed company in a different industry” at the start of 2023. He will depart on 31 December “at the latest”, the brewer said today.

Dalsgaard was appointed by CEO Cees ‘t Hart, who joined Carlsberg from Dutch brewer Royal FrieslandCampina a year earlier. According to the group, the recruitment of a replacement will now commence.

Earlier this month, the company prepared for the departure on 1 July of executive VP for Asia Leo Evers. The former Heineken executive has held the post for around 12 months.
